A Procession

A Procession is a series of intimate sculptures by artist, educator, and writer luis Moreno. luis produced the hand-sized, hand-formed objects in daily collaboration with his mother, Estela, as they held hands over the household and other materials chosen for their meeting that day (read the materials list by clicking on the interior image). The artist’s name and the exhibition title are set in a warm pink that deliberately effaces itself into the background, in keeping with the artist’s wish to remove themselves from the center of this body of work.
